Similar to ramen Tsuke-men’s noodle is separated from soup, like soba. Usually tsuke-men’s soup is deeper and stroger than ramen’s soup, so after finish to eat tsuke-men, you can ask a waiter/waitress to add dashi into the soup. So the taste of the soup becomes mild as ramen’s soup to drink. This is also similar to soba, because saba-yu is added into soba-tsuyu to drink. ‘Tsuke’ means soaking, and ‘men’ is noodle
