I had lunch at a meat restaurant, Taihi-ban on a back alley in Kichijoji.
Their concept is thinking health and agriculture from compost.
It is located on a quiet back alley, so you might think only locals go to the restaurant. However, it is always full.
Today, there was only Zashiki space for multiple people available, so I use there alone.
It was so hard to pick what I would eat, because there are a lot of lunch dishes.
I was very interested in Motto-sugoi gyu-don
, but I pick a classic dish, Taihi-ban beef steak.
I felt like that I must eat meat at that time, so I ordered 180g (2400 yen).
First of all, many kinds of appetizer sampler; salad with homemade dressing, seasoned vegetables, roast beef, and so on.
Here the Taihi-ban beef steak came!
It looked juicy and great looking. lol
I wanted to have TKG
, so I also ordered a cage-free raw egg.
The egg yolk color was natural lemon yellow, not deep orange which is deliberately feed orange color foods.
I added a homemade pudding, made with cage-free fertile eggs, fresh milk, and sugar.
The taste was gentle and simple, but I felt rich egg taste. It was so tasty.
Even though the restaurant use organic foods, I can eat well, and highly satisfied with the organic dishes.
Especially lunch time, it is the right place to experience organic dishes, because you can feel free to go there, and they have many kinds of meat dishes.
