Shibuya “EMME”

Mrs.Enmeiji, whom I am on familiar terms with, has been independent from
a French popular restaurant with a star Michelin rating, LATURE, where she was a pastry chef.

She started her own dessert bar, EMME, in September, 20th.


I was invited the opening party which was cosy and like her who is loved by everyone. Even Mr.Murota, who is the owner chef at LATURE, also came to help her.

From 12pm to 4pm, it was dessert time with all her heart.
From 5pm to 2am, it was wine bar time by her husband, and they also served simple desserts too.

She prepared three kinds of dessert for the first day.
Everything looked great and I almost ordered them, but my eyes locked on parfait, which I never seen at LATURE.

For the reason, I picked a persimmon and chestnut parfait (1700 yen).

The parfait was used a lot of seasonal persimmon, which was excellent compatibility with Mont Blanc, that used Japanese chestnut grown in Aichi.

Usually, I can eat only half of a parfait, because too much sweetness makes I get tired, even though appearance of parfait is very attractive.

However, the parfait, made by pastry chef Enmeiji, was the perfect balance of sweetness, and even salty rice cookie Kakinotane also was included. lol

For the reason, I completely ate it in an instant! How delicious it was!

By the way, there are light meal menu in EMME.
Since I visited the party without eating lunch, so I ordered homemade minced meat curry (1200 yen).
The taste, which was mixed rich beef flavor with both sweetness and sourness of tomato, was very good!

Dessert menu in EMME will change once per month, so that I can not wait!

You can feel free to eat only desserts, which were served at French popular restaurant with a star Michelin rating, LATURE, without ordering a full-course meal.

Therefore, if you have a sweet tooth, you must go there!
